Long Island-based artist Chin H Shin creates paintings with a traditional oil painting technique, but would rather put a slight touch of contemporary and his own insight by means of communication with each subject matter. He comes up with unique creativity upon each different environment. He wants to be a different type of artist. His painting style uses bold lines and colorful brush strokes, somewhat reminding me J.S. Sargent, but his painting finishes with his own personalities consisting of line, color and texture.

Chin H Shin has Master of Art Dgree from Long island University and teaches paintings in workshops in oil and watercolor.
he is currently a member of Oil painters of America, Portrait Society of America, Member of Huntington Art council and his paintings hang in numerous private collections and art galleries.
